#10: We Keep Things Fresh

Forgive me for my late recap! Seriously considering just giving about 5 or 6 bullet points on a go forward basis and call it a day! We’ve got a lot on our plates for this season! Before we hop into the recap for this week, be sure to connect with us on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and Ustream. Click one, any or all of the links there to access all of the various networks that we are apart of. Now that we’ve got the jibber jabber out of the way we’re gonna do this all brief like!

Started out talking about Kackleberry Farm! Mitch Vaughn, head farmer at Kackleberry called in to discuss the ZipStream Ultra that JUST opened. There were also discussions of other attractions at Kackleberry (like their Laser Tag, baby crocodiles, etc). They have over 50 different attractions for those that are planning on making a trip out to Louisville. If you haven’t began planning. Do it NOW!

We then moved on to speaking with Beth Barranco, RN. She was speaking to us about the need for women to get mammograms. This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month… I committed to a challenge to try and raise some money to fight breast cancer!

Next up was Karen Gordon of Garden City Jazz to give us a recap of what was going on with the Westobou Festival! We developed some great ideas for the Zombie Walk that was taking place at the same time as the Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings. Check it out!

Carolann Utley from the Symphony Orchestra Augusta called in for the last few updates on the John Williams Spectacular that closed out the Westobou Festival! CHEWBACCA!

And finally, Bryce from the Second Annual Zombie Walk called in to tell us that there was over 450 people signed up to walk. Outstanding!

Until next time…

Leading up to next week, leave us a message on the AC Hotline sponsored by Dichicko’s Peri Peri Cafe by calling 706-871-4297! Until next time!
