I decided to make this first post a little more introductory for two reasons 1. To find out a little bit about me other than what’s in my bio and 2. To give you the opportunity to email me and ask me fashion questions or tell me what you would like to see me blog about.
I started out in the fashion industry as a plus size model. I constantly got comments on my clothes, shoes, and accessories when I would post pictures on my facebook. So, I had this idea one day… why not take something I love to do (shop) and turn it into income. I’ve been going full speed ever since. I don’t profess to know everything about this industry, however I do know that what works for me or a client, may work for someone else who is looking for a new look. I take initiatives daily to perfect what I enjoy doing.
Everyone has their own personal style. Whether you love it or hate it, it’s yours. If you hate it, then change it. And hopefully my blogs will help you do that.
With Spring right around the corner, literally… I decided to introduce you to my favorite part of fashion… COLOR! Color is the main factor in my world of fashion. I love color, and I try to wear it as often as I can. It doesn’t take a lot of color, just a piece here and there.
However, for this first post I decided to take some of my favorite Spring colors and show you how to color block. We get caught up in this world that everything has to match. You can’t do this, you can’t do that… throw all that 1990′s fashion nonsense out of the window. Fashion is Confidence! If you have the confidence to wear it… Do it!
As you can see I use several different colors as the main pieces (shirt, skirt, wedge sandal) and then pulled the colors together with the accessories (clutch, ring, earrings).
You can pull this entire look together for less than $100. Now that is what I like to call “Style with Cents!”
