Augusta’s Newest Frozen Yogurt to Offer $1 Cups at Grand Opening
April 23, 2012 (Augusta) – Peachwave Frozen Yogurt of Augusta has planned a Grand Opening celebration for Friday, April 27th from 11am-11pm. Normally, the store sells products by the ounce ($0.42/oz) but this Friday, the newly opened self-serve frozen yogurt store will run specials all day which include flat-rate $1 Green Cups (16 oz. yogurt and toppings, limit one per customer).
The store features a hip, contemporary flare with furniture and lighting that push the envelope of the trendy and upcoming in Augusta.
Located somewhat discreetly in Fairway Square on Washington Road (across from Hooters), the casual, family-friendly yogurt cafe features two sizes of cups and the option of adding a waffle crisp to your tasty creation. With the exception of the Grand Opening this Friday, all sales are calculated per ounce.
The store offers a variety of discounts to the community. Senior adults and military personnel can receive a 10% discount with identification. Families and students can unlock a 10% discount by showing cashiers their “check-in” at Peachwave on the location based social media platform, Foursquare. Loyalty cards are available to provide repeat customers the opportunity to earn free yogurt.
“Tony (the store owner) is very passionate about this community,” says Chris Lam, Marketing Manager for Peachwave Corporate offices in Oklahoma. “He is a resident of Augusta and truly cares about his customers. You see it in his friendly greetings and especially in his business decisions to offer rewards and discounts to the citizens of Augusta.”
Peachwave is a national retail chain with over 40 locations but the business is not a franchise. 100% of the profits earned by Peachwave of Augusta will stay in Augusta. Peachwave Augusta is an independently owned business that shares the name and consistent premium experience of a national retail concept.
